Welcome to the Iowa Beta Alumni Association
Founded in 1905 the Iowa Beta chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon has initiated approximately 1,800 brothers who have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, politicians, educators, finance professionals and titans of industry. These men spent all or a portion of their collegiate years at the University of Iowa.
Receiving numerous awards over the years for its outstanding programs and initiatives, the Iowa Beta Alumni Association was founded in 1999 with the objective to cultivate character, learning and build enduring friendships. Our mission is to provide opportunities for the lifelong education and development of True Gentlemen through scholarship grants as well as career networking and mentorship programs. We do these things in the context of the values set forth by The True Gentleman.

The Iowa Beta Alumni Association is the fastest-growing and largest SAE alumni organization in the country. Our programs and initiatives have been recognized as among the best in the country for three years in row, winning awards for our innovative website, electronic communications and as the Outstanding Chapter Alumni Association.
We cordially invite you to join us. To become a member, you must have been involved with the Iowa Beta chapter at the University of Iowa for all or a portion of your collegiate years. If not, you can still support our mission as a “Friend of Iowa Beta”.
Joining is easy. It is fast, easy and free. No donations are required.
